Smells of Attraction
Pheromones have been around since the beginning of time, though their role in sexual attraction between humans is only now becoming understood. Pheromone signals are produced and found in perspiration, then are detected through an organ 3 inches inside the nose called the Vomeronasal Organ or the (VNO). The VNO is the receptor organ of a sensory system involved in direct chemical communication. Among mammals, sex pheromones that show sexual readiness to potential mates are often, although not necessarily exclusively, detected by the VNO gland. When the VNO detects pheromones, it sends a small sexual response signal to the brain which then triggers the person to react in different ways. Not in uncontrolable ways, this isn’t a magic potion of lore, but it should get heads to turn.
As mentioned above, pheromones are found in perspiration. While most people find sweat to be an unpleasant smell, researchers and scientists have been able to take the pheromones out and separate them from the other particles. The end result is a liquid that is odorless and invisible. You can now find pheromone sprays that are either scentless and can be worn underneath the other cologne or perfume of your choice, or others that have a light scent mixed in. The scented versions make it easier for you to judge how much of the product you are applying, but the choice is yours.
